Fig. 176 Replacing the bulb in the headlight. ¤Please first read and note the introductory information and heed the WARNINGS .368. Please carry out each step only in the order specified: Front turn signal ⇒ fig. 176 (2) Fog light / cornering light (4) 1. Please review and follow the checklist. 2. Starting at the inside, pull the cover forward slightly by the fins until the retainers release ⇒ fig. 175 (arrow (A)). 3. Pull the cover out of the side mounts in the directio(Bn )o. f the arrow 4. Rthe sceremwosve (1) and (2) using the screwdriver in the vehicle tool kit 5. Tilt the light forward slightly and remove it from the side mounts ⇒ fig. 176 (small arrows). 6. Release the connec(1to) ar nd disconnect it.Release the connector (3) and disconnect it. 7. Turn the bulb h(2)old ienr the direction of Turn the bulb holder (4) in the direction of the arrow until it stops and remove it toward the arrow until it stops and remove it toward the rear with the bulb. the rear with the bulb. 8. Replace the burned out light bulb with a new bulb of the same type. 9. Insert the bulb holder in the headlight and turn it all the way to the right. 10. Insert the lights into the mounts (small arrows) and tilt them back. 12. Tighten the screws ⇒ fig. 175 (1) and (2) with the screwdriver. 13. Beginning at the outside, insert the cover into the bumper opposite the direction of the arrow (B). The illustrations show the left headlight. The right headlight is the mirror image. Different models may have different lights, and the location and design of covers, bulb holders, and bulbs may be in a different location than shown in the illustrations.
