Remove main selector rod 2 seal ring @ from rear caver 1 8 Should removal of seal ring take place while gearbox is fully assem- bled (on stand or vehicle), special tool A.3.0429 must be used. A.3.Q42g7 r-i-l 4 10. Remove main selector rod 8 3 and recover selector 0, spring and lever 0. 1 Rear caver 3 Seal ring 2 Main selector rod 1 Screw 5. Remove guide pin @ for main1st and 2nd speed rod 2 3 Screw selector rod @ return spring 1 4 3rd and 4th speed control fork 7. Unscrew and remove screws 4 8 5 1st and 2nd speed lever with relevant fixing washers from oil 6 Screw sump; remove oil sump @ together 1st and 2nd speed control fork 7 1 Selector 3 Spring with relevanr gasket. 2 Lever 4 Main selector rod 11. Engage 5th speed and remove 9. Use tool A.3.0322 to remove the 5th speed and reverse gear rod @ following spring pins: place on central lock ring @ - Pin @ securing reverse gear and support 0. 5th speed lever on rod @ Unscrew and remove the two halls securing safety lever on securing plug @ then remove the halls themselves. securing selector lever on rod 0. 1 Return spring4 Sci-ews 2 Guide pin 5 Oil sump 3 Main selector rod 8. Unscrew screw 0 securing 1st and 2nd sseed control fork 13) on relevant rod @ and serez 6 . securing 1st and 2nd speed lever 5 - 8 Speed selector lever pin 1 Remove lever @ from gearbox 2 Main selector rod casing. Loose and remove screw 3 0 4 5th speed and 3 Reverse gear and 5th speed lever pin1 Central support fixing 3rd and 4th speed control 4 Reverse gear and 5th speed rod2 Lock ring reverse gear rod fork @ on relevant rod. 3 Securing plug 5 Safety lever pin 13-7 May 1983
