AUTOMATIC CLIMATE CONTROL (continued)
1 1a For greater efficiency, it automatically
2a switches on the air conditioning (op-
11 erating tell-tale 5a lit), the rear screen
11a de-icing (operating tell-tale 8a lit) and
switches off the air recirculation (oper-
2b ating tell-tales 2a and 2b off).
Optimum air flow is then directed to-
wards the windscreen and front side
windows.

5a If you wish to alter the air flow (which
8a may be noisy), press button 9.
There are two ways to switch this func-
tion off:
“Clear View” function – press AUTO button 1 (indicator
Press “Clear View” button 11, operating light 1a lit up);
tell-tale light 11a comes on. Indicator – press button 11 again (indicator
light 1a on AUTO button 1 will go out. light 11a goes out).
This function quickly demists and de-
ices the windscreen, the front side win-
dows, the door mirrors and the rear
screen.
