1986 Volvo 740 GL, GLE, Turbo ● Check that the bulb lights ● Re-install cluster cover pg. 73 Replacing bulbs High-mounted brake light Remove the plastic housing by pulling it up and away from the light assembly. Depress the black catch tab to release the bulb holder(1). Swing the bulb holder out and replace the bulb(2). (Sedan model is shown; procedure similar on the wagon models.) Bulbs Power Socket High-mounted brake 20 W Ba 9s light Engine compartment light Insert a screwdriver and pry off the light assembly. Lift it out to remove.
