Load Carrying FOLDINGTHEREARSEATS Onvehiclesnot fitted with 60/40 split rear seats the whole seat canCare Points . be folded forwards to increase luggage space. On vehicles fittedWhenreturning the seats to the with 60/40 split rear seats, either or both parts of the seat can beupright position, ensure that folded. the seat belts are not trapped! Lift the release levers (see inset) to release the backrest (lift bothIf it is necessary to carry a load levers simultaneously on vehicles without 60/40 split seats).that protrudes through the taildoor window, the load must NOTrestontheglassofa partially open window. Damage to the glass or window mechanismmayoccur. WARNING! Ensure that the rear seat backrests are securely latched in the upright position when the seat is in use and when loads are carried in the luggage area behind. For Your Safety . DONOTcarryunsecured equipment, tools or luggage that could move, causing H2385A personal injury in the event of an accident, or emergency manoeuvre - where possible, use the seat belts to secure Accommodatinglongloads luggage carried on the seats. Removetheheadrestraintsfrom the front passengerand rear seatsYouareadvised NOTto carry (see ’Seats’), move the front passenger seat forwards as far asloads which require driving possible and fully recline the seat backrest. Finally, fold the backrestwith the taildoor or taildoor (or the appropriate part of the backrest in the case of 60/40 splitwindowopen-poisonous seats) fully forward as shown. fumeswill be drawn into the Loads that are too long to be carried inside the vehicle should bevehicle!
