SWITCH (Push-button ignition models only)
The flashers will operate with the ignition switchTo shut off the engine in an emergency situation
placed in any position. while driving, perform the following procedure:
Somejurisdictions may prohibit the use of– Rapidly push the push-button ignition switch
the hazard warning flasher switch whilethree consecutive times in less than 1.5 sec-
driving. onds, or
– Pushandholdthepush-buttonignitionswitch
for more than 2 seconds.

Push the switch on to warn other drivers when
you must stop or park under emergency condi-
tions. All turn signal lights flash.
WARNING
● If stoppingforanemergency,besureto
movethevehicle well off the road.
● Donotusethehazardwarningflashers
while moving on the highway unless
unusual circumstances force you to
drive so slowly that your vehicle might
becomeahazardtoothertraffic.
● Turnsignalsdonotworkwhenthehaz-
ard warning flasher lights are on.
