Synchronising the remote control Emergency unlocking/locking First read and observe the introductory information and safety warn- Introduction ings on page ėĘė.  0his chapter contains information on the following subjects: If the vehicle does not unlock when pressing the remote control, the key may not be synchronised. 0his can occur when the buttons on the remote control key are 1nlocking/locking the driver's door ėĘĘ actuated a number of times outside of the operative range of the equipment or Locking a door ėĘę the battery in the remote control key was replaced. 1nlocking the boot lid ėĘę Synchronise the key as follows.  Selector lever-emergency unlocking ėĘę ›Press any button on the remote control key. ›Pressing of the button means that the door will unlock with the key within Ė mi- 1nlocking/locking the driver's door  nute.
