BRAKEANDCLUTCHFLUID WARNING Use only new fluid from a sealed con- tainer. Old, inferior or contaminated fluid may damage the brake and clutch systems. The use of improper fluids can damage the brake system and af- fect the vehicle’s stopping ability. CAUTION Do not spill the fluid on painted sur- faces. This will damage the paint. If WDI0039 LDI0035 fluid is spilled, immediately wash the BRAKEFLUID CLUTCHFLUID surface with water. Check the brake fluid level in the reservoir.Check the clutch fluid level in the reservoir If the fluid is below the MIN line or the brake(manual transmission only). If the fluid level warning light comes on, add Genuine Nis-is below the MIN line, add Genuine Nissan sanBrakefluid or equivalent DOT 3 fluid upBrake fluid or equivalent DOT 3 fluid up to to the MAX line. If fluid must be addedthe MAX line. If fluid must be added fre- frequently, the system should be thoroughlyquently, the system should be thoroughly checked by an authorized NISSAN dealer.checked by an authorized NISSAN dealer.
