IGNITION, STARTING, CHARGINGSYSTEM DISASSEMBLY In the following are prqvided the disassembly operations relevant to ignition distributors, limited to the part on which maintenance is carried out. BOSCH DISTRIBUTOR Clamp distributor on a vice fitted with protective jaws. 1. Remove cap0 and withdraw first the rotor arm@ with rev limiter and then the lubrication felt. The rev limiter is a centrifugal located on the head of rotor arm which interrupts the ignition dis- tribution when the engine exceeds 6800 rpm. 1 Screw 2 Connector 2. Remove dust cover0. 4. Remove cap securing springs @ after unscrewing the relevant 6. Lift inductive winding remove the advance regulator screws 2 Then unscrew 1secur- 0 0 ing stator to distributor body and screws 3 securing advance regu- 0 lator to distributor body. 1 Inductive winding 1 Cap 3 Dust cover 2 Advanceragulator 2 Rotor arm 1 Stator securing screw 2 Spring securing screw 3 Regulator securing screw 4 Spring 7. From distributor shaft, remove in sequence the timer, retaining ring 0 and inductive winding 3. Operating as per figure, remove@ 5. Operating on screw0, remove retaining ring of timer. complete ofstator and supporting connector @ of distributor body. plate. OS-3 1 May 1983
