Warning light Message on display ASR WHEEL ANTISKID SYSTEM V Turning the ignition key to MAR, the warning light on the dial turns on, but should go off after a few seconds. The warning light turns on together with the led on the ASR OFF button when the system is switched off by the drivers. The warning light flashes when the system cuts in, to alert the driver that the system is adapting to the road surface grip conditions. If the drivers doesn’t switch off the system, the turning on of the warning light, together with the message (ASR OFF) on the display, indicates a failure of the ASR system. In this case contact Alfa Romeo Authorised Services as soon as possible. GETTING TO KNOW YOUR CAR OUTSIDE LIGHT FAILURE W When the ignition key is turned to MAR, the dial warning light comes on but must go out after a few seconds. The warning light comes on when an anomaly is found in one of the following lights: – sidelights – braking lights or corresponding fuse – rear fog guards – number plate lights. The warning of a fault may mean one or more blown bulbs, a burnt fuse or cut off connection. 94
