Locking the trunk separately
You can lock the trunk separately. If you then
unlock the vehicle centrally, the trunk
remains locked and canno tb e opened.

Close the trun kl id.

Take the mechanical key out of the
SmartKey (Y page 84).
1 Neutral position.
2 To unlock

Turn the mechanical key counter-clockwise
fro mp osition 1 as far as it will go to
position 2.P ulling the trunk lid handle at
the same time.

sufficien tc learance above the trunk lid.
If the trunk cannot be unlocked with the
SmartKey or KEYLESS-GO, use the
mechanical key.
If you use the mechanical key to unlocka nd
open the trunk lid, the anti-thef ta larm system
will be triggered ( Y page 78).
