themaximumpermissibleenginerpm. Aspeed
limiter prevents the enginefrom being overrevved
duringacceleration. Beforereachingthisarea,the
nexthighergearshouldbeselected. Shifttothe
nextlowergearwhentheenginerpmdropsbelow
1500rpm.
