On vehicles with side airbags and Same Same angle curtain shield airbags, do not allow position the child to lean his/her head or any part of his/her body against the door or the area of the seat, front or center and roof side garnish from which the side airbags or cur- tain shield airbags deploy even if the child is seated in the child re- straint system. It is dangerous if the side airbag and/or curtain shield airbag inflate, and the impact could cause death or serious injury to the child.
Do not install a child restraint sys-
When installing a child restraint tem on the rear/second or thirdsystem on the rear/second center seat if it interferes with the lockposition, adjust both seat cushions mechanism of the front or secondto the same position and align all seats. Otherwise, the child or frontseatbacks at the same angle. Other- or second seat occupant(s) may bewise, the child restraint system can- killed or seriously injured in case not be securely restrained and this of sudden braking or a clliso ion.may cause death or serious injuries
If the driver’s seat position doesin a collision. not allow sufficient space for safe installation, install the child re- straint system on the rear/second right seat. 94
