Fuel System FUEL CUT-OFF SWITCH (Petrol engine models only) ALWAYS check for fuel leaks before resetting the fuel cut-off switch. HB0163 The fuel cut-off switch is a safety device which, in the event of a collision or sudden impact, automatically cuts off the fuel supply to the engine. The switch is located behind the front ashtray on the driver's side of the centre console. After the switch has been activated, it must be reset by pressing the rubber top (arrowed in illustration) before the engine can be restarted. NOTE: On diesel models, the fuel cut-off system resets automatically and therefore, does not need to be reset by the driver. 86
