AIRBAGS
De airbags zijn speciaal ontworpen
voor een betere veiligheid van de
inzittenden bij ernstige aanrijdingen:
ze vormen een aanvulling op de
werking van de veiligheidsgordels.
De elektronische schoksensors regis-
treren een plotselinge vertraging van
de auto: als de drempelwaarde voor
het in werking treden wordt over-
schreden, worden de airbags onmid-
dellijk opgeblazen en vullen ze de
ruimte tussen de inzittenden en de
auto.
Direct na de aanrijding ontsnapt het
gas zodat noch het zicht, noch het
