Cargo Area Enlargement 2. Lift the seatbacks, pushing them back until they lock
Folding both sides of the rear seat provides additionalon both the latches. Verify the red notches are no

Proceed as follows:
1. Fully lower the rear seat head restraints. 4
2. Move the safety belts to the outboard side of the seat
and rest them on the seat belt guide.
3. Pull the seatback release lever to fold both sides of the
rear seatbacks completely forward.
Seatback Repositioning
NOTE: If interference from the cargo area prevents the
seatback from fully locking, you will have difficulty
returning the seat to its proper position.
Rear Seat Latch
1. Move the safety belts to the outboard side of the seat
and rest them on the seat belt guide to ensure they
properly latch.
