1978 Volvo 242 244 245 Be sure the arm goes all the way into the attachment. Raise up the side of the car enough to lift the wheel off the ground. Unscrew the wheel nuts completely and remove the wheel carefully so as not to damage the threads of the studs. Installation ● Clean the nuts and the contact surface between wheel and hub. ● Lift on the wheel and fit the wheel center on the hub shoulder. ● Tighten the nuts until the wheel makes good contact with the flange. ● Fill air in space saver spare wheel (242 GT). See also page 68!. ● Lower the car and tighten the nuts alternately to 72-100 ft. lbs. ● Fit the wheel cap. NOTE: Do not rotate a raised rear wheel if the car is equipped with a limited slip differential.
