AIRBAGS A Uitschakelen passagiersairbag III Als u op de voorstoel een kinderzitje met de rugleuning in de rijrichting wilt gebruiken, moet u de passagiersairbag voorin uitschakelen. Dat gaat als volgt: Zet het contact uit en steek de sleutel in de schakelaar A. Draai de sleutel in de stand "OFF": de passagiersairbag is uitgeschakeld. Het controlelampje van deze airbag op het instrumentenpaneel zal gaan branden als u het contact aanzet. Inschakelen van de frontairbag van de passagier Vergeet niet de airbag weer in te schakelen zodra dat kan. Dat gaat als volgt: Zet het contact uit en steek de sleutel in de schakelaar A. Draai de sleutel in de stand "ON": de passagiersairbag is ingeschakeld. Als u het contact aanzet, zal het controlelampje van de passagiersairbag op het instrumentenpaneel een paar seconden branden. De airbags zijn alleen actief bij aangezet contact. Het afgaan gaat gepaard met een geluid. Opmerking: het gas dat vrijkomt bij het afgaan van de airbags kan licht irriterend werken. Indien u op de passagiersstoel voorin een kinderzitje plaatst met de rugleuning in de rijrichting, dan moet u de frontairbag aan passagierszijde uitgeschakelen, daar het kind anders ernstig gewond of gedood kan worden, als de airbag afgaat. 8899
