Instrument Panel Indicators TheinstrumentpanelhasmanySeatBeltReminderIf either of you do not fasten your indicators to give you importantIndicatorseat belt while driving, the beeper information about your vehicle.This indicator comes on when youwill sound and the indicator will flash turn the ignition switch to the ONagain at regular intervals, and you (II) position. It reminds you and yourwill see a ‘‘FASTEN SEAT BELT’’ or passengers to fasten your seat belts.‘‘FASTENPASSENGERSEAT AbeeperalsosoundsifyouhavenotBELT’’ message on the multi- fastened your seat belt.information display (see page 86). If you turn the ignition switch to theFormoreinformation, see page 21. ON(II)position before fastening your seat belts, the beeper sounds, andtheindicator flashes. If you do not fasten your seat belts before the beeper stops, the indicator stops flashing but remains on. If your front passenger does not fasten their seat belt, the indicator comesonabout6secondsafterthe ignition switch is turned to the ON (II) position. 66
