 ’05Camry_U (L/O 0409) This warning light system monitors the airbag sensor assembly, front airbag sen- sors, side and curtain shield airbag sen- sors, curtain shield airbag sensors, driv- er’s seat position sensor, driver’s seat belt buckle switch, front passenger occupant classification system, “AIRBAG ON” indi- cator light, “AIRBAG OFF” indicator light, front passenger’s seat belt buckle switch, seat belt pretensioner assemblies, inflat- ors, warning light, interconnecting wiring and power sources. (For details, see “Ser- vice reminder indicators and warning buzz- ers” on page 117 in Section 1-6.) This indicator comes on when the igni- tion key is turned to the “ON” position. If any of the following conditions occurs, It goes off after about 6 seconds. This this indicates a malfunction of the airbags means the SRS side airbags and curtain or seat belt pretensioners. Contact your shield airbags are operating properly.Toyota dealer as soon as possible.
When the ignition key is turned to the “ON” position, the light does not come on or remains on for more than about 6 seconds.
The light comes on while driving. The SRS warning light and “AIRBAG OFF” indicator light will come on if there is a malfunction in the front passenger occu- pant classification system. 71
