Withtheheadlightswitchoff,the
high beamheadlights and the high
beamindicator come on with
reducedbrightness whenyouturn
theignitionswitchtoON(II)and
release the parking brake. They
remainonuntilyouturntheignition
switch off, even if you set the
parkingbrake.
Theheadlightsrevert tonormal INSTRUMENTPANELBRIGHTNESS
operation when you turn them on KNOB
withtheswitch. Theknobontheinstrumentpanel Pushthebuttonbetweenthecenter
controls the brightness of the instru- vents to turn on the hazard warning
mentpanellights. Turn the knob to lights (four-way flashers). This
adjust the brightness. causes all four outside turn signals
andbothturnindicators in the
instrument panel to flash. Use the
hazard warning lights if you need to
parkinadangerousareanearheavy
traffic, or if your vehicle is disabled.
