CONTROLS AND EQUIPMENT WINDWSHIELD WIPER AND WASHER SWITCH LEVER / EMERGENCY FLASHER SWITCH LEVER Windshield Rear window wiper and washer Brief w iping: (Wagon/Avant only) Pushing the lever from position 0 (OFF) Push lever away from the steering wheel down allows the wipers to operate for as and release – the wiper will operate approx. every six seconds (intermittent long as the lever is held in this position.
