62 1-1. Per un utilizzo sicuro
Cofano a sollevamento (RC200t)
Nel caso di una collisione frontale con un corpo, ad esempio un pedone, il
sistema del cofano a sollevamento solleva la parte posteriore del cofano per
ridurre la possibilità di un impatto grave della zona della testa del pedone
aggiungendo spazio al vano motore.
Meccanismo del cofano a sollevamento
Quando il sensore posizionato sulla parte posteriore del paraurti anteriore rileva
un impatto con un corpo, ad esempio un pedone, che corrisponde o supera il
livello di soglia, mentre il veicolo viene guidato entro la gamma di velocità opera-
tive, il sistema si attiva e solleva la parte posteriore del cofano.
