62 1-1. Para un uso seguro
Capó emergente (RC200t)
En caso de una colisión frontal con unc uerpo, tal como un peatón, el sistema
del capó emergente eleva la parte posterior del capó para reducir la posibili-
dad de un impacto severo en la zona de la cabeza del peatón proporcionando
espacio al compartimento del motor.
Mecanismo del capó emergente
Cuando los sensores ubicados en la parte posterior del parachoques delantero
detectan un impacto contra un cuerpo, tal como un peatón, que cumple o
excede el nivel de umbral cuando se conduce el vehículo dentro del rango de
velocidad operacional, el sistema entra en funcionamiento y levanta la parte pos-
terior del capó.
