WarningLights Checkengine - AMBER (diesel models only) The light illuminates briefly as a bulb check when the starter switch is turned to position ’II’. If the light remains on or illuminates when driving, the emission control system requires attention. Stop the vehicle and switch off the engine for 30 seconds; if the light illuminates again after the engine is restarted, it is permissible to continue driving, but qualified assistance must be sought as soon as possible to prevent potential engine damage. Glowplugs-AMBER (diesel models only) Illuminates when the starter switch is turned to position ’II’. When the engine is cold, wait for the light to extinguish before starting. Hazard warning lights - RED Illuminates in conjunction with the direction indicator warning lights, when the hazard warning lights are operated. 61
