Häufig sind auf dem Ölbehälter eine oder beide API-registrierten Kennmar-
ken angebracht, um Ihnen bei der Wahl des richtigen Öls zu helfen.
1 API-Service-Plakette
Oberer Teil: “API SERVICE SN”
bedeutet die vom American Petroleum
Institute (API) vergebene Ölqualitäts-
bezeichnung.
Mittlerer Teil: “SAE 0W-20” kenn-
zeichnet den SAE-Viskositätsgrad.
Unterer Teil: “Resource-Conserving”
bedeutet, dass das Öl über kraft-
stoffsparende und die Umwelt schüt-
zende Eigenschaften verfügt.
2 ILSAC-Prüfzeichen
Das Prüfzeichen des International Lub-
ricant Specification Advisory Commit-
tee (ILSAC) ist auf der Vorderseite des
Behälters sichtbar.
