The Lancia Y is consequently ready to travel well ahead of the most stringent inter- national pollution control standards. USE OF MATERIALS THAT DO NOT HARM THE ENVIRONMENT None of the car’s components contain asbestos. Padding and the air conditioning system do not con- tain CFC’s (Chlorofluorocarbides), gases considered responsible for the destruction of the ozone layer. None of the colourings and anti-corrosion coatings of the nuts and bolts contain air- or water-table-pol- luting cadmium or chromates, but environmentally-friendly substances. G
