590 7-2. Pasos necesarios en caso de emergencia
PRECAUCION
■Cuando inspeccione debajo del capó de su vehículo
Respete las siguientes precauciones.
En caso contrario, se pueden producir lesiones graves tales como quemaduras.
●Si observa que sale vapor de debajo del capó, no lo abra hasta que deje de salir. El com-
partimiento del motor podría estar muy caliente.
●Mantenga las manos y la ropa (especialmente bufandas o corbatas) alejadas de los venti-
ladores y de las correas. En caso contrario, su ropa o sus manos podrían quedar atrapa-
das, causando heridas graves.
●No afloje la tapa del depósito de refrigerante
cuando el motor y el radiador estén calientes.
El vapor a alta temperatura o el refrigerante
podría salir expulsado.
AVISO
■Al añadir refrigerante para el motor
Añada refrigerante lentamente después de que se haya enfriado el motor lo suficiente. Si
añade refrigerante al motor cuando está caliente demasiado rápido, podría dañar el motor.
■Para evitar daños en el sistema de enfriamiento
Respete las siguientes precauciones:
●Evite contaminar el refrigerante con materia extraña (como arena o polvo, etc.).
●No utilice aditivos de refrigerante.
