Locking and unlocking Central door locks Driver’s doors with key E00300800712 Vehicles without the keylessentry system and vehicles NOTE without the keyless operation system ●Each of the doors can be locked or unlocked independ- ently by using the inside lock knob. Using the key on driver’s door locks or unlocks driver’s doors ●Repeated continuous operation between lock and unlock and the tailgate. 1 could activate the central door locking systems built-in protection circuit and preventthe system from operating. If this occurs, wait about one minute before operating the central door lock switch. ●When the driver’s door is open, neither the central door lock switch can be used to lock it. 1- Lock 2- Unlock NOTE ●If the vehicle has a Dead Lock System and the Dead Lock System is set, turning the key toward the rear of the vehi- cle causes only the driver’s door to be unlocked; the cen- tral door locking system does not operate (refer to “Dead Lock System” on page 1-40). 1-38
