Opening or closing the power sunroof Fig. 31 In the headliner: Rotary switch for the power sunroof. A: Turn the rotary switch to slide the sunroof open or closed. B: Press or pull the switch to tilt open or to close. ¤ Please first read and note the introductory information and heed the WARNINGS The rotary switch must be turned to its home position ⇒ fig. 31 (1) in order to tilt the power sunroof. Function Switch Action position A To open sliding sunroof fully: (3) Turn the switch past po(2sit)i aonn d hold it there until the glass roof moves to the desired position. To move the sliding sunroof to the (2) Turn the switch to the desired position. comfort position: To set an intermediate position: (1) to (2) To close the sliding sunroof fully: (1) B To tilt open the tilting roof fully: (4) Push the rear part of the switch briefly (arrow). To stop the one-touch feature: (4) or (5) Push or pull the switch again briefly. To set an intermediate position: (4) to (5) Pull or push the rear part of the switch briefly until the desired position is reached. To close fully: (5) Pull the rear part of the switch briefly (arrow). You must switch on the ignition to operate the power sunroof. After switching off the ignition, you can still open or close the power sunroof for several minutes as long as the driver or front passenger door has not been opened. Sliding headliner The sliding headliner opens with the power sunroof and can be closed manually when the sunroof is closed.
