If Trouble Arises Flat Tire 5. Use the lug wrench to tighten the nuts 6. (Aluminum wheel equipped vehicle) in the order shown. Remove the center cap by tapping it from the backside of the wheel using the lug wrench. 7. Store the damaged tire, using the ﬂ at tire hold-down bolt to hold it in place. (With sub-woofer) Flat tire hold-down bolt If you are unsure of how tight the nuts Sub-woofer should be, have them inspected at an Authorized Mazda Dealer. Nut tightening torque N·m (kgf·m, ft·lbf) 108—147 (12—14, 80—108) (Without sub-woofer) WARNING Alw ays securely and correctly tighten the lug nuts: Flat tire Impr operly or loosely tightened lug hold-down bolt nuts are dangerous. The wheel could wobble or come of . This could result in loss of vehicle control and cause a serious accident. Be sure to reinstall the same n uts you removed or replace them with metric nuts of the same coni guration: Bec ause the wheel studs and lug nuts on your Mazda have metric threads, using a non-metric nut is dangerous.
