4-3. Do-it-yourself maintenance
■How to initialize the tire pressure warning system
STEP 1 Park the vehicle in safe place and turn the “ENGINE START
STOP” switch to OFF.
While the vehicle is moving, initialization is not performed.
STEP 2 Adjust the tire inflation pressure to the specified cold tire infla-
tion pressure level. (P. 682)
Make sure to adjust the tire pressure to the specified cold tire
inflation pressure level. The re pressure warning ti system will
operate based on this pressure level.
STEP 3 Turn the “ENGINE START STOP” switch to IGNITION ON
mode.
STEP 4 Press and hold the tire pressure
warning reset switch until the tire
pressure warning light blinks
slowly 3 times and the message
“TIRE PRESSURE RESET
SET PROCEEDING” appears on the
multi-information display.
STEP 5 Wait for a few minutes with the IGNITION ON mode, and then
turn the “ENGINE START STOP” switch to OFF.
