Cleaning the plug and dipstick areas will prevent dirt 15W-40 Petrol Engine Oil and grit from entering the engine 10W-30 (2.0L MPI) and other mechanisms that could 5W-20, 5W-30 be damaged. 15W-40 Engine oil viscosity (thickness) has an 10W-30 effect on fuel economy and cold weatherDiesel Engine Oil (1.7L) 5W-30 operating (engine start and engine oil 0W-30 flowability). Lower viscosity engine oils can provide better fuel economy and cold 15W-40 weather performance, however, higher Diesel 10W-30/40 viscosity engine oils are required for sat- Engine Oil (2.0L)5W-30/40 isfactory lubrication in hot weather. Using oils of any viscosity other than 0W-30/40 those recommended could result in engine damage. When choosing an oil, consider the range of temperature your vehicle will be oper- ated in before the next oil change. Proceed to select the recommended oil viscosity from the chart. 8 8
