Låg * : Olja med denna viskositet får endast användas vid extrem kyla och aldrig om motorn viskositet medför bättre bränsleekonomi belastas hårt eller vid körning i höga hastigheter. och gör bilen mer lättstartad i kyla. Oljor med hög viskositet krävs för effektiv smörjning vid högre temperaturer. Tabellen nedan ska följas för att motorn ska få rätt smörjning och undvika motorskador. Oljan för motorn ska anpassas till aktuell temperatur. 8 8
