Maintenance and Care Owner Maintenance 4. Disconnect the bulb from the socket. CAUTION W hen removing the lens or lamp unit using a l athead screwdriver, make sure that the l athead screwdriver does not contact the interior terminal. If the l athead screwdriver contacts the terminal, a short circuit may occur. NOTE  To replace the bulb, contact an Authorized Mazda Dealer.  Use the protective cover and carton for 5. Install the new bulb in the reverse order the replacement bulb to dispose of the of the removal procedure. old bulb promptly and out of the reach of children. (Type A), Front side-marker lights If you are changing the left bulb, turn * (Type A), Fog lights , Brake lights (Type the steering wheel to the right. A), Taillights (Type A), Reverse lights, 3. Pull the center of each plastic retainer High-mount brake light, Side turn using a ﬂ athead screwdriver and signal lights, Rear side-marker lights remove the retainers, and then partially (Type A) peel back the over fender. The LED bulb cannot be replaced as a Removal single unit because it is an integrated unit. The LED bulb has to be replaced with the unit. We recommend an Authorized Mazda Dealer when the replacement is necessary. Fr ont turn signal lights/Parking lights Make sure the ignition 1. is switched off, Installation and the headlight switch is off. Lift the 2. hood. Refer to Hood on page 6-20 . 3.
