Owner Maintenance
Hatchback 5. Disconnect the bulb from the socket.
Make sure the ignition 1. is switched off, Rear direction indicator lights
and the headlight switch is off.
Turn the 2. bolts anticlockwise and
remove them.
Brake lights/Tail lights
(LED type)
The LED bulb cannot be replaced as a
single unit because it is an integrated
3. Pull the unit rearward to remove it. unit.
The LED bulb has to be replaced with
the unit. We recommend an Authorised
Mazda Repairer when the replacement
is necessary.

4. Turn the socket and bulb assembly
anticlockwise and remove it.
6. Install the new bulb in the reverse order
of the removal procedure.
