■Condizioni in cui gli airbag SRS potrebbero attivarsi (gonfiarsi) oltre al caso di una colli-
sione
Gli airbag SRS anteriori e gli airbag SRSn a tedina possono anche attivarsi se si verifica un
forte impatto sulla parte inferiore del veicolo. Alcuni esempi sono riportati in figura.
●Urto contro un cordolo, bordo della strada o
superficie dura
●Caduta o salto sopra una buca profonda
●Atterraggio pesante o caduta del veicolo
■Tipi di collisione che potrebbero non provocare l’attivazione degli airbag SRS (airbag SRS
anteriori)
Generalmente gli airbag SRS anteriori non si gonfiano se il veicolo viene coinvolto in una col-
lisione laterale o posteriore, se si ribalta o se viene coinvolto in una collisione frontale a bassa
velocità. Tuttavia, ogni volta che una collisione di qualsiasi tipo provoca una sufficiente decele-
razione in avanti del veicolo, potrebbe verificarsi l’attivazione degli airbag SRS anteriori.
