■ Réglage azimutal
1 Arrêtez le véhicule dans une zone où vous pourrez lui faire décrire un
cercle complet en toute sécurité.
2 Appuyez sur le bouton pendant
de 9 secondes.
“C” s’affiche sur l’écran de la
boussole.
3 Roulez en cercle à moins de 5
mph (8 km/h) jusqu’à ce que le
cap s’affiche.
Si vous ne disposez pas de
suffisamment d’espace pour décrire
un cercle complet, faites le tour du
quartier jusqu’à ce que le cap
s’affiche.
■Conditions empêchant un bon fonctionnement de la boussole
Il peut arriver que la boussole n’indique pas le bon cap, dans les conditions suivantes:
●Vous avez arrêté le véhicule immédiatement après avoir tourné.
●Le véhicule se trouve sur un plan incliné.
●Le véhicule se trouve dans une zone où le champ magnétique terrestre est perturbé
par des champs magnétiques artificiels (pking souarterrain/aérien, proximité d’une
tour en acier, entre deux immeubles, proximité d’une intersection ou d’un véhicule de
grand gabarit, etc.).
●Le véhicule s’est magnétisé. (Présence d’un aimant ou d’un objet métallique à proximité
du rétroviseur intérieur.)
●La batterie a été débranchée.
●Une porte est ouverte.
