Driving
Starting - stopping the vehicle
Ignition switch Starting Stopping
F Check that the drive selector is in F Stop the vehicle.
position P. F Keep your foot on the brake pedal.
F Insert the key in the ignition switch.F Place the drive selector in position P.
F Turn the key to position 4 (START).F Apply the parking brake.
F Turn the key to position 1 (LOCK).
F Remove the key from the ignition switch.

seconds until the "READY" lamp
comes on accompanied by an
audible signal.
F Release the key. Do not attach any heavy objects to the
