1991 Volvo Coupe A certain amount of air will always enter through the dash air louvers as long as they are open, regardless of the position of the air distribution control. Close the dash air louvers to obtain maximum air flow to floor or windshield. pg. 22 Heating and ventilation (cont.) ECC - Electronic Climate Control panel Fan Function selector Temperature dial 0=off Set desired function Set desired 5 = max speed This button should normally be in the aut position. temperature aut = fan speed automatically regulated Air conditioning disengaged when this button is in the depressed position. Air in the passenger compartment recirculates. The light has two functions: Will not function in defrost setting. Light is on when function is engaged. ● air conditioning disengaged ● fault in system Function selector aut=air distribution automatically regulated Air through panel vents Defrost.
