46 Unlocking and locking So long as the child safety lock is switched on it is not possible to open the Unlocking and locking car door from the inside with the door opening lever. In this case the door can be opened only from the outside. Remote control Description You can use the remote control: • to unlock and lock the car • unlocking boot lid Fig. 28 Key: Assign- • Opening and closing window ment of buttons The transmitter with the battery is housed in the handle of the master key. Unlocking the vehicle  The receiver is located in the interior of the car. The operating range of the remote control is 10 metres but this range can be reduced if the batteries A are waek. – Press button A ⇒ fig. 28 for about 1 second.
