Driving with the Paddle Shifters PADDLE SHIFTERS GEARPOSITION INDICATORThetransmission control system monitors the accelerator pedal use andyourdrivingconditions. When youpresstheaccelerator pedal as in normaldriving, the system judges that you are driving at a constant cruising speed without using the paddle shifters. Under these conditions, D-paddle shift mode is canceled, and the transmission automatically returns to drive mode (D). Toshift up or down, use the ＋Whenyoupulleitherpaddleshifter,Holdthe＋(right)paddleshifterfor (right) or － (left) paddle shifter onthe gear position indicator shows you2secondstoreturntodrivemode either side of the steering wheel.the selected gear number.(D). Eachtimeyoupull＋(right),the Whenthetransmissionreturnsto transmission shifts to a higher gear. drive mode (D), the displayed gear Pull － (left) to downshift.
