1985 Volvo DL, GL and Turbo Spare wheel, jack The spare wheel and jack are stored under the hatch to the left in the cargo compartment. Loosen the two clips 1/4 turn and lift off the hatch. CAUTION! Unless the station wagon is equipped with a cargo compartment seat (Volvo accessory), occupants should not ride in this section of the car. Concealed storage space There are two concealed storage areas under the cargo compartment floor.
