Vehicles with the Off-Road Engineering package: the maximum gradient climbing abil- ity is 100 % when the LOW RANGEoff-roadgear:Anchoragepointsforthetrailer tow hitch is selected. ;Rearaxlecenterline Mercedes-AMGvehicles:themaximumgradi- ent climbing ability is 80 %. Vehicles without the Off-Road Engineering package: the maximum gradient climbing abil- ity is 80 %. GLE550e4MATIC:themaximumgradient dataclimbing ability is 50 %. Accelerate carefully and make sure that the wheels do not spin when driving on steep ter- rain. iIftheloadonthefrontaxleisreducedwhen pulling away on a steep uphill slope, the front Technicalwheels have a tendency to spin. 4ETS recog- nizes this and brakes the wheels accordingly. Therearwheeltorqueisincreased,makingit easier to drive off. Forfurtherinformationaboutthemaximumgra- dient climbing ability, see (Y page 190). Trailer tow hitch Mountingdimensions !Ifyouhaveatrailertowhitchretrofitted, changestothecoolingsystemanddrivetrain maybenecessary, depending on the vehicle type.
