(1) Above a height of 1.36 m or a weight of 36 kg, a child may be strapped directly into the seat in the same way as an adult, with- out a need for a special seat. (2) To place the back of the child seat against the seatback of the vehicle, adjust the height of the headrest or remove it if neces- sary. (3) Only a rear-facing type child seat may be fitted in this seat. Before fitting a child seat: position the vehicle seat as far back as possible. (4) DANGER! RISK OF DEATH OR SERIOUS INJURY: BEFORE FITTING A REAR-FACING CHILD SEAT IN THIS SEAT, MAKE CERTAIN THAT THE FRONT PASSENGER AIR BAG HAS BEEN DEACTIVATED.
