To reduce smearing we recommend theWINDSCREEN WASHERS
following:
• Lower the s ensitivity of the autowipers.Note:Do not operate the washers when

of moisture on the windscreen and adjust
the speed of the wipers automatically.
Use the rotary control to adjust the
sensitivity of the rain sensor. With low
sensitivity, the wipers will operate when
the sensor detects a large amount of
moisture on the windscreen. With high
sensitivity, the wipers will operate when
the sensor detects a small amount of
moisture on the windscreen.
Keep the outside of the winds creen clean.Pull the lever toward you.
Sensor performance will be a ffected if the
area around the interior mirror is dirty. The
rain sensor is very sensitive and the wipers
may operate if dirt, mist or flies hit the
windscreen.
