Chevrolet Tahoe/Suburban Owner Manual - 2011 Black plate (39,1) Vehicle Care 10-39 To replace one of these bulbs:4. Turn the bulb socketLicense Plate Lamp 1. Open the liftgate. SeeLiftgatecounterclockwise to remove it (Power) on page 2‑10or Liftgatefrom the taillamp assembly. (Manual) on page 2‑12. 5. Pull the old bulb straight out from the bulb socket. 6. Press a new bulb into the bulb socket and install the socket into the taillamp assembly by turning it clockwise. 7. Reinstall the taillamp assembly. Whenreinstalling, make sure to line up the pins on the taillamp assembly with the vehicle. If this is not done, the taillamp1. Removethetwoscrewsholding assembly will not be able to beeach of the license plate lamps installed correctly. to the molding that is part of the 2.
