2003 Volvo S40 & V40 Automatic . . on starting up, the display provides information on range and function selected if no warning is given. . once driving, - a warning comes on if the fuel tank is nearly empty - a snowflake symbol will be shown if the ambient temperature is in the icing range 23°F to 36°F (-5°C to +2°C). See the following pages for more details. On demand . . . . you can use the selector switch to call up information on: - Average speed - Current fuel consumption - Average fuel consumption - Ambient temperature - Trip meter - Range left before tank is empty Warning signals The range and ambient temperature functions can also generate warnings.
