(Als de auto niet uitgerust is met een schakelblokkeersysteem is het niet nodig het rempedaal in te trappen. Geadviseerd wordt echter het rempedaal toch in te trappen om te voorkomen dat de auto onbedoeld in beweging komt. Druk de vergrendelknop in tijdens het schakelen.
