Practical hints Replacing bulbs Replacing bulbs for rear lamps Fold the trim to the side and remove it.License plate lamp Before you start to replace a bulb for a rear Turn the bulb socket counterclockwise lamp, do the following first: and pull it out. Turn the exterior lamp switch to Gently push the bulb into the socket, position M (page131). turn it counterclockwise and remove it. Open the trunk ( page 114). Insert the new bulb and reinstall the bulb socket. Tail lamp unit The bulb socket should audibly click into place. Reinstall the trim. 1Screws Loosen both screws 1. Remove the license plate lamp. Replace the bulb. Reinstall the license plate lamp. Retighten screws 1. 1Backup lamp 2Drivers side: Rear fog lamp Passengers side: Substitute lamp 3Turn signal lamp 414
